The 5 Anime I’ve Hated Watching The Most

I'm pretty sure we all have a list like this - a list of the shows that we have absolutely hated. I realise I can be quite pessimistic about shows anyway, but this is a list of shows that I absolutely do not want to revisit. Often, it's also a list of shows that I don't even want to talk about, meaning this is a somewhat rare chance to delve into the bottom of the barrel.

The Fullmetal Alchemist Movies aren’t great…

The first Fullmetal Alchemist anime adapation was one of my first anime. I loved every second of it, completely obsessed over both Edward Elric and Roy Mustang. It was the one shounen anime I had fallen in love with. From that moment on, Fullmetal has always had a special place in my heart… even if it did take me a good few years after that to actually watch Brotherhood. When I finally did watch Brotherhood, I obsessed. I binged the show so hard, I was sad when it was over. But luckily for me, there was even more Fullmetal content to love. There are also two movies – The Conqueror of Shamballa and The Sacred Star of Milos.

Spring 2019: Am I still watching?

We are currently halfway through this season and I'm really surprised about the quality this time around. Usually, seasons are filled with quite a few mediocre shows, but Spring 2019 really does seem like a top season. Regardless, being halfway through the season means it's time to reflect on the past six/seven weeks and begin to form an opinion on the shows I've been watching. Some of these shows really have surprised me and, uh... not always for the better.

My Spring Vacation 2019 Anime Wrap-Up

Working as an ESL teacher at a university in China... you don't really get much time off. Work is constantly there. So, once I learned about the fact that I was going to get an entire week off with no teaching and hardly any students to deal with, it's safe to say I was quite happy. During this spring break, I've managed to somehow fit time in for eleven different shows and I have thoughts for all of them...

A Game of Life or Death: Worldend:Debugger Review

Boy, I love a death game scenario, so I was quite hyped to get reading this and I am so glad I did. The synopsis sounds a little crazy, sure, I get that, but the first chapter is written so well making me hooked from the start. And as the story progressed, I was obsessed with finding out what the next game was or what the next twist in the story was.

Spring 2019: What am I watching?

It's been an entire year since I've last done a "What am I watching?" post and that's because I've been avoiding seasonal anime so I could catch up on my backlog a little bit better. This all changed with The Promised Neverland, though and, admittedly, having something to look forward to watching every week really did wonders for my mood as well, as trivial as that sounds, so I've decided to get back into the swing of seasonal anime! Woo!

Move over, Twilight: Devils Line Review

Devils Line is probably one of the only anime from this year (so far) that I probably stand on the minority side of things. A lot of people haven't given Devils Line a particularly good review and, although I can understand why people may not like it, I have to disagree completely. Move out of the way Twilight, a better vampire love story is in town.
