It’s that time of the season again where we all avidly look towards the upcoming season and plan our anime schedules for the next three months.

Winter 2018 has gone by so quickly… I can’t believe I’m already writing a post for Spring 2018! Similarly to the last edition of these posts, however, I’m only going to be picking a couple of shows to feature on this list. These will be my seasonal priorities. Of course, this means that there’s nothing stopping me from watching other things – both from this season and previous ones – but I’m definitely going to be keeping an eye out on the following.

So, without further ado, let’s begin, shall we?

Persona 5 – Action, Fantasy, Supernatural
From being one of the biggest games of 2017, Persona 5 is getting its own anime adaptation, just like its predecessors Persona 3 and Persona 4. Persumably, the anime will follow the same, or at least a similar, story as the original game where a rebellious group of teenagers in Tokyo form the group called Phantom Thieves of Hearts as they aim to rebel against the corruption and slavery present in their society.

Persona 5 will be available to stream on Wakanim.

Devils Line – Action, Drama, Romance, Seinen, Vampire
Vampires seem to be living among humans. Of course the government does not know of their existence, because their appearance does not differ from humans. They also do not need to drink blood, but when they get a craving or get angry, they can become uncontrollable monsters. Devils Line follows the story of Anazai who is half-vampire and Tsukasa, a normal school girl…

At the time of publishing, there is no official stream of Devils Line.

Butlers: Chitose Momotose Monogatari – Comedy, Supernatural
Koma Jinguji is the smart and handsome student council president. His elegant smile captures the hearts of women. Tsubasa Hayakawa is a multi-talented and gentle shop assistant at a café. His cafe latte with owl latte art is very popular with female customers. The two men travel through time to fight their archenemy. The charming “Butlers,” as they are called, fight supernatural battles and also experience a slapstick comedic life at their academy.

At the time of publishing, there is no official stream of Butlers: Chitose Momotose Monogatari.

Aggressive Retsuko – Comedy
This show is a short, produced by Sanrio in order to promote their character Retsuko – a red panda who works in an office. She unleashes her frustrations with life by participating in death metal karoake…

Aggressive Retsuko will be available to stream on Netflix.

Tada-kun wa Koi wo Shinai – Comedy, Romance
Mitsuyoshi Tada, a boy who has never known love, is taking pictures of the cherry blossoms in full bloom when he meets Teresa Wagner, a transfer student from Luxembourg. Upon arriving in Japan, she got lost, separated from her travel companion.

Tada-kun wa Koi wo Shinai will be available to stream on iQIYI.

And that’s all that I’m priortising this month! As always, I’ll have a dabble in other shows based on what people are talking about, but these are definitely the shows I’ll give a good go!

What are you watching next season? Let me know in the comment section below!

Until next time!
