Note to self: stop making so many promises.
Wow, guys. Life has been somewhat hectic lately. I know I say that every so often, but, really, a lot has changed over the past two weeks, meaning I haven’t been able to deliver on content as planned. Impromptu hiatus, woo!
The most prominent reason as to why I haven’t been posting content, or even just being around in general, is the fact that I have picked up a part-time job! I’m back in employment! Although part-time, the job is working in a bar so I do have quite an awkward schedule at the moment. That being said, I am still looking for something more permanent (and hopefully with better hours) so this could all change relatively soon as well.

Another reason was that I did go away for a weekend to my university city before I started at said job, so I also lost out on precious content creation time then. However, on a personal level, it was certainly worth it. I got to see friends who I don’t see all too often, which was nice! Not to mention that I may have treated myself to yet another manga, oops…
It hasn’t been completley silent, however!
Although nothing has been published for a few weeks, I have been working on the blog itself! I’ve been planning out new segments (including bringing back Anime for All and a revamped version of Fandom Fridays!) as well as organizing things with guest contributors and other exciting things that I can’t wait to share!
Also, I was on a podcast! Did I mention I was on a podcast? Man, what an exciting time! A podcast was something I was always interested in doing eventually, but my lovely blogger friend Lita invited me onto her podcast’s third episode and I just couldn’t say no! I was bouncing up and down, let me tell you. It was an absolute blast to record as well! We spoke about a variety of different topics from the Summer 2019 seasonal anime to what snacks we like eating, but don’t let me spoil anything else for you! If you haven’t listened to it yet, go ahead and do so now! It’s available to listen to on your preferred podcast app – just search for the That Nerd Lita Podcast!
So, what now?
Well, my main issue at the moment is getting myself into the right routine to maintain my anime-watching content-producing ratio. Although it might not seem like a massive change to some, I’m simply not used to having shifts on a rota for work. Another, yet somewhat minor issue in comparison, is that I need to create more graphics for the blog’s sidebar (due to revamping segments and what-not) but this is proving more difficult than I thought as well… Perhaps I’m just being too picky in my graphic design!
More behind-the-scenes work will also be happening as well, fixing old posts and standardizing everything, as well as updating some of the blog’s pages.

I’m going to try and get my usual, pre-planned content out as soon as possible, including videos over on YouTube, so keep an eye out for updates over on my Twitter! That’s where I’ll post the most up-to-date updates regarding content.
That being said, I’m also going to be participating in The AniManga Festival next month as well (starting from tomorrow!). It’s been planned out by Auri and Nairne over at Manga Toritsukareru Koto as an event for anime and manga lovers to celebrate our love for anime and manga as well as ourselves and each other! There are lots of different prompts, events, and activities going ahead and you can find more information about the festival here, because Auri and Nairne explain it better than I ever could! Nevertheless, I’ll be posting content here, on YouTube, on Twitter, and Instagram, so you’ll be able to find some of my content no matter where you are! I’ll also be keeping up-to-date as best as I can with everyone else’s posts, of course!
Will next month be a lot of hard work? Of course, it will be. That’s okay, though. Because it’s going to be a lot of fun too!
Hope to see you around!

The timing issue and changes is something I can really understand too!
Thank you so much for joining and sharing ~
No problem! The more the merrier with something like this, I think! ☺️
