With the end of the year nearing, it’s time to have a little bit of fun.
Although I’m not particuarly one to keep up to date with award ceremonies such as the Oscars, I’ve always wondered what it’d be like to host my own little award show. I don’t know why I’ve got the need to do this, but we’re doing it.
All good things must come to an end, which means we’ve seen a lot of anime come and go. But that doesn’t have to be it. Oh no. You can now nominate your favourite anime, manga, video game, K-Pop artist and more for an AGAHA award! Realistically, I’m just really interested in what everyone has enjoyed this year and I thought a good way to bring the community together was to make this. Fingers crossed that it doesn’t flop.
It’s very easy to participate in. All you have to do is answer as many of the questions on the nomination form as you wish. You don’t have to answer all of them, don’t panic. And you have quite a while to nominate the people/titles you want to nominate. The nominations will close on Saturday 14th Decemeber, which is just under three weeks time.
After the nominations are over, I’ll close the form, collect the results and put the top five from each category up for voting. Voting will open on Sunday 15th December and will end on Wednesday 1st January 2020 – again, just over two weeks. The results will be made public on Saturday 4th January 2020.
Don’t panic if you forget where to nominate or anything. I’ll be posting the link fairly regularly on Twitter, Instagram and Facebook so there will be plenty of reminders. However, with that all being said, there’s nothing much for me to say… What I can do, however, is give you the link for the nomination form. Here you go!
I will emphasise that this is all entirely for fun. (And because I’m too nosey for my own good…) I don’t wany negativity from anyone throughout any stage of this. Positive vibes only, please! It’s the holiday season after all!
