I'm usually able to list the reasons as to why I liked or disliked it, my favourite parts of the show, my favourite character etc. Dialogue about the shows I've seen usually comes quite natural to me, so I normally don't see any reason to sit down and re-watch a show I've already spent time watching when I could use that time to watch a different show. There are, of course, a few exceptions...
A new month means that there's a new lot of birthdays to celebrate! Last month I began a new 'segment' where I highlight some of the upcoming birthdays to grace the anime (and sometimes gaming) worlds. Here is a list of those celebrating in March!
Organised by Shaegeeksout, the Readathon is taking place this weekend - from the 12th to the 14th of February. Although I'm using this as an opportunity to get through as much as my manga backlog as possible, Shae has also given us some challenges, should we care to accept them! These challenges make up the foundations of my own readathon choices for this weekend, so let's take a look at them!
I do love a good seasonal theme. I've usually just stuck to doing the week's worth of seasonal-themed blog posts every now and again. One holiday that I've never done anything for, however, is Valentine's Day. All of that is about to change.
You know those times when you search something on the Internet and then just get trapped? The rabbit hole of the Internet has consumed me once more; this time capturing me in the realm of birthdays. After looking into a few anime birthdays for my last post, I found myself curious of upcoming anime birthdays. Thus, an idea was born.
As I've counted down the days to my birthday, I've been wondering who in anime has the same birthday as me. Why have I been wondering this? I don't know. Although, I did think it'd be quite fun to look into. Just who do I share my birthday with?
It's time to reveal the winners! Here are the results of the 2nd AGAHA Awards, the winners chosen by you guys! I always find it interesting to see what the favourite series from my readership were - it allows me to learn a lot more about you guys! I hope you guys find these results as interesting as I did.
Despite the rollercoaster of a year we all had, I'm focusing on the future. Everyone has probably published their own review posts of a similar vein, but I've certainly had to sit down and think about what I want to do with 2021. I don't necessarily wish to make concrete goals. After all, who knows what 2021 has in store?
A lot of you probably haven't heard of Leeds before. In actual fact, it's the largest legal and financial centre outside of London and the birthplace of Spice Girls' member Mel B, former professional boxer Nicola Adams and renowned chef, Marco Pierre White. Let's forget about the trivia though, because Leeds is a brilliant place to go if you want to expand your anime and manga collections.
As it's December, that can only mean one thing - award ceremonies. That's right, it's time to celebrate everything anime and manga-related, as I bring the second AGAHA Awards to you all! This is all just for a little bit of fun and to acknowledge the success and achievements of those in the anime industry itself and the community around it. And, really, after the year we've all had, a bit of acknowledgement can go a long way, don't you think?
