Allow me to introduce you to Scotland Loves Anime 2023 and the films shown this year! This line-up, it turns out, was a really strong one.
Ever wondered what it's like to go to a K-Pop festival in the UK? I went to HallyuPopFest 2022 in London and I want to tell you all about it, so buckle up as I tell you about my experience seeing the likes of ONEUS, Kep1er and EXO's Kai live in concert!
In November, I was able to go to MCM Birmingham - my first anime convention in over two years! Not only that, but I was able to browse the convention in my own time, for the first time in six years. Already having anxieties about the COVID-19 situation, I didn't want any other anxieties this time!
As you're reading this, I'm sat on a train. I'm currently making the 200+ mile journey to Edinburgh. With a total travel time of four hours, I can tell you that I'm probably not in the best of moods right now. But although the British public transport system is lacklustre at best, nothing can stop my excitement right now. Why? Because I'm on my way to Scotland Loves Anime!
A lot of you probably haven't heard of Leeds before. In actual fact, it's the largest legal and financial centre outside of London and the birthplace of Spice Girls' member Mel B, former professional boxer Nicola Adams and renowned chef, Marco Pierre White. Let's forget about the trivia though, because Leeds is a brilliant place to go if you want to expand your anime and manga collections.
Releases, industry insights and more! I give a round up of All the Anime's first-ever virtual convention, Cloud Matsuri. Surprises galore and guests such as Eunyoung Choi and Eiji Inomoto!
Usually for conventions, I don't get much sleep, but this year I didn't sleep a wink. I just wasn't tired enough. I did try to get some sleep because I knew the day would be so busy, but each attempt of getting sleep simply failed. Regardless, I got out of bed at about 3:30 in the morning and began getting ready for the convention.
Every convention I've been to has been incredible. However, today, I'm going to be discussing about my dream convention. I'm going to be discussing who would attend my con, where it'd take place and much more, so grab a cuppa and stick around because this is going be a long one!
I share my experiences of an incredible day in Birmingham, which included meeting the one and only Vic Mignogna!
I talk about cosplaying as Tōko Fukawa from Danganronpa - my choice of cosplay for MCM Birmingham 2016.
