Music is a vital tool for bringing people together. It's a way of communication that we've had in our lives for centuries. And that message is very much prominent in Kono Oto Tomare!, a music-themed drama that aired in Spring 2019. Produced by Platinum Vision (the studio behind Servamp and Devils Line), it follows the daily life of a high school koto club - a koto being the national instrument of Japan.
Spring 2019: What am I watching?
It's been an entire year since I've last done a "What am I watching?" post and that's because I've been avoiding seasonal anime so I could catch up on my backlog a little bit better. This all changed with The Promised Neverland, though and, admittedly, having something to look forward to watching every week really did wonders for my mood as well, as trivial as that sounds, so I've decided to get back into the swing of seasonal anime! Woo!
Move over, Twilight: Devils Line Review
Devils Line is probably one of the only anime from this year (so far) that I probably stand on the minority side of things. A lot of people haven't given Devils Line a particularly good review and, although I can understand why people may not like it, I have to disagree completely. Move out of the way Twilight, a better vampire love story is in town.
Spring 2018: What Am I Watching?
It's that time of the season again where we all avidly look towards the upcoming season and plan our anime schedules for the next three months.
Winter 2018 has gone by so quickly... I can't believe I'm already writing a post for Spring 2018!
