It's that time of the season again! Here are my seasonal choices for Winter 2020. What are you watching next season? Do we have any in common?
My Spring Vacation 2019 Anime Wrap-Up
Working as an ESL teacher at a university in China... you don't really get much time off. Work is constantly there. So, once I learned about the fact that I was going to get an entire week off with no teaching and hardly any students to deal with, it's safe to say I was quite happy. During this spring break, I've managed to somehow fit time in for eleven different shows and I have thoughts for all of them...
5 Anime That Have Made Me Cry
What an easier post would be is "5 Anime That Didn't Make Me Cry" because there are a lot fewer anime that I haven't cried at, that's for sure. I'm just a big crybaby, what can I say? Now, because I cry at literally everything, some of these, I feel, are probably predictable. Some others? Probably not. But I certainly have my reasons for all of them.
Move over, Twilight: Devils Line Review
Devils Line is probably one of the only anime from this year (so far) that I probably stand on the minority side of things. A lot of people haven't given Devils Line a particularly good review and, although I can understand why people may not like it, I have to disagree completely. Move out of the way Twilight, a better vampire love story is in town.
The Cutest Monster Girls: Demi-chan wa Kataritai Review
Imagine a world where humans and demi-humans co-exist. They go to work, they go to school... I have seen a lot of shows, that just don't go into detail about the characters. They introduce them and that's that. That's their personality, we're going to stick with that for 12 episodes with absolutely no development whatsoever. This is where Demi-chan is different.
Summer 2018: Was I Right?
Now that the Summer 2018 season is finally over, it's time to see how accurate I actually was in my picks. I'm going to be going through reviews and looking at scores and statistics in order to get an overview on the anime I selected in my What To Watch post and see how accurate I was in my predictions.
A Rollercoaster of Emotions: Kuzu no Honkai Review
Watching drama is what I enjoy doing the most and, well, Kuzu no Honkai - otherwise known as Scum's Wish - is an anime that delivers the dramatic rollercoaster that is unrequited love and, undoubtedly, takes it to the next level. I certainly didn't mean to be hypocritical in this review, but the show is that complex that it's hard not to be.
Summer 2018: What To Watch
I'm arguably a little late on this for the Summer 2018 season has already started, but it's time for me to share my latest seasonal anime recommendations. So, what has caught my eye for this season?
Spring 2018: Am I Still Watching?
It's that time of the season where I reflect on the shows I began watching this season! I thought Winter 2018 had gone quick, but Spring seems to have gone a lot quicker? Not only that, but I've actually managed to stay up-to-date with some series! (Makes a change, huh?)
Spring 2018: What Am I Watching?
It's that time of the season again where we all avidly look towards the upcoming season and plan our anime schedules for the next three months.
Winter 2018 has gone by so quickly... I can't believe I'm already writing a post for Spring 2018!
